Seeking a team-player with a flexible work schedule (available days, nights, weekends and holidays). All applicants must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background. Misdemeanor theft convictions (petty theft, larceny, etc.) and felony violations will prevent the state from issuing pari-mutuel license) Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift. OVERVIEW: Assist guests with check cashing, chip sales, redemption and credit transactions in a pleasant and professional manner in compliance with Internal Controls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ● Count drawer at start of shift, verify cash and chip amount. Document according to standard procedures ● Exchange Cash for Chips and Chips for Cash. ● Issue Cash Advance to patrons ● Issue and redeem player rewards, redeem lotto tickets and mutuel vouchers. ● Issue, receive, & verify dealer imprest banks ● Verify & record dealer tip cashout. ● Issue, Receive, and verify all money bags from various lines of business. ● Process vault buys for chips or cash replenishment. ● Lead the count team for the Revenue & Jackpot drops ● Balance the drawer at the end of the shift ● Other duties as assigned by Management QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: ● Ability to communicate in English ● Knowledge of basic math and calculating procedures ● Customer Service and Cage Cashier experience preferred WORKING CONDITIONS: ● Potential exposure to outdoor / indoor elements and air conditioning / heat ● Walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching ● Continuous sitting for minimum of 2 hours ● Handling chip trays (maximum weight 20lbs) ● Overtime work on "as needed" basis * PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: * Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws * Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance * Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others * Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency * Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior * Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted * * Hours vary.
