Description

Czech kolace, also spelled kolache and kolachy are yeast-risen rounds of dough topped with fruit filling, cheese and/or streusel and baked. In this in-person class held at the new Flour Pot kitchen in De Pere, WI, students will join Gina Guth in learning the art of making this ethnic treat. Students will experience hands on instruction on making the pastry dough and fillings. Flavors include apricot, poppy seed, cherry, raspberry, cream cheese and prune.. Class participants can choose which flavors they will make during the session and will take home a dozen Kolache. Individual baking stations provide appropriate social distancing to keep students safe. When you arrive your station will be all set up for you so that all you need do is show up and have fun!
