2 year old neutered boxer/pit mix, sweetest dog ever. We adopted him for a rescue that gave us a bunch of bogus records and stories about him. He has been to my vet and has been completely vaccinated and was given flea and heartworm preventative. We also had Xrays done as his one front shoulder didn't seem quite right. Turns out he was shot when he was younger and the fracture healed crooked. We have taken him to an Ortho Dr. and was advised that the injury is old and that he will be fine and to let him be a dog. He is completely housebroken, LOVES kids, other dogs and even cats. He is not to fond of long car rides and he needs to have a fenced in yard or be tethered when taken out as he likes to roam the neighborhood and bother the neighbors. He is not much of a guard dog and will let anyone inside that will pet him. We have a 12 year old dog that is too old to play and no kids. We believe he would be happier in a home with other dogs and kids. He will sit and cry in the yard when the neighbors dogs come out or he sees kids. He really just adores affection and play time. He will come completely UTD on all his shots for the next year, his bed, all his toys and any dog food that he has left.
