Here is some back information for this little guy!! We had one and bought a 2nd that wasn’t being cared for properly in order to help rehabilitate and stop him from getting cat attacked daily, now he is thriving and ready for a new home! (We are keeping the girl, turns out Russian turtles really don’t care to cohabitate) Rehoming will be just the cost of what we paid for the tortoise.- We paid $200 for JUST the tortoise you will get a portable home (50 gal tub) that can be suitable for long term living as long as you are taking him out daily for outside sun time (sorry we need our permanent one for our girl Pancake) You will also receive enough food for at least a few days/1 week to ensure you can get to a store, can give you a extra substrate so you can create a safe outdoor area for him (we use baby pools), and a food/water dish too! Oh and we have an extra light our girl isn’t using if you need for him! His care will include: Daily fresh water change and food change- he eats pellets and fresh leaf greens 🙂 Daily poop scoop, we just used a paper towel or baby ware wipe to pick it up! If you don’t want him going in his home, simply put him in some water outside (about 1-2 inches only) and he will go in that instead 😅 Daily light switching aka turn on his basking bulb in the morning and off at night Easy peasy!! Our kids have loved hand feeding him and watching him explore! (They’re 3) His age is probably a few years old and he is between 6-7 inches and won’t get bigger! Email or Text only please
