We'll make sure you enjoy your share of our beautiful artisan breads (and croissants too). Wave Hill Breads is seeking farmer market sales people to be brand ambassadors for our handmade artisan breads and pastries. This position will average 6-12 hours per market, with markets being held Wednesday -Sunday. Markets are based throughout Fairfield and Westchester County. We are recognized as one of the top 100 bakeries in America by Food and Wine's Magazine in May 2020! Requirements: -Available on weekends, Saturdays are a MUST. -Excellent people and communication skills, a friendly manner -Your own insured vehicle -Good with basic math skills, able to lift 40 lbs., able to stand for 4-5 hours straight. -Reliable, organized and punctual -Knowledge of safe food handling procedures is a plus -Previous sales experience a big plus Non-negotiable: Valid driver's license and ability to use personal vehicle Available days: Friday through Sunday Compensation: $13-16/hour, depending on credentials, experience and references. Mileage reimbursement in addition to hourly wage.
