General Labor position at Shipyard Repair Yard in Harvey CALL TODAY, START TOMORROW!! - Must Pass Drug Screen - 1 year shipyard experience preferred - Must Lift 50 lbs - Steel Toes, Gloves, and Hard Hat Required - Reliable Transportation - Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm Job Description: 1) Loading and Unloading of vehicles, warehouse, and ships; using hands, truck, or dolly. 2) Washes trucks, ships, and other vehicles. 3) Cleans ships, piers, drydocks, and other working areas, using broom and water hose. 5) Sorts lumber, metals, and other scrap materials. 6) Collects and burns trash. 7) Mixes and pours cement on inner bottoms of ships and around joints on decks to prepare surfaces for tile or to make joints watertight. 8) Removes paint and scale from ships' metal surfaces, using hand or powered wire brushes. 9) Conveys materials and tools to work site. 10) Other Duties as assigned by yard Foreman
