Join us on your lunch break for Startup Chowdown where we chat with local founders and startups the last Friday of the month! Startup Chowdown is a monthly lunch, held the last Friday of every month to foster random collisions and non-transactional relationships, celebrating the wins in our community (#celebratethewins hosted by Larry Horn from Amplify) and featured guest speakers on everything from raising capital, hiring the right talent for your company to how to get published and crafting the perfect media pitch. Founders will also have the opportunity for 30 sec pitches for talent, and company updates. This socially distanced in-person event will be completely FREE, hosted by our Community Champion Microsoft Future of Work initiative, come celebrate the wins in the community (who got funded, exits) #celebratethewinslou with by Larry Horn from Amplify Louisville. About Christain Miller: Christian is a Senior Associate for Poplar Ventures – a Seed/Series A venture capital fund investing in B2B cloud software technology companies based in middle America. At Poplar he focuses on deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio management. Prior to joining Poplar Christian was an Associate for TRP Capital Partners where he helped lead due diligence for new opportunities and assisted with portfolio company management, including serving on the Board of Directors for CarLotz, Inc. (NYSE: LOTZ). Christian went to Bellarmine University for undergrad and is passionate about giving back to the Louisville community and entrepreneurial ecosystem. To that end, Christian and John Willmoth, Poplar’s Founder, are carving out 9am to 12pm ET on the last Friday of every month for Poplar’s Open Forum.
