Description

Join us for a Women's Wellness Retreat that will focus on physical, spiritual, and mental health and wellness for today's everyday woman. Has this past year taken a toll on your physical, spiritual and mental well being? Have you found very little time to care for yourself? Do you find yourself wondering why you can't seem to be the person you want to be, not only for yourself, but the other people in your life? Have you found yourself missing connection and interaction with other women and feel like you just need to be around other people who "get it"? Join a community of women for a Women's Wellness Day Retreat as we take some time not just to care for ourselves, but to learn ways to implement healthy habits into our daily lives. While nutrition and fitness are easy places to start the discussion about holistic wellness, our health extends well beyond our physical needs. Everything is connected when it comes to having a healthy lifestyle. That lifestyle comes from your nutritional health, your emotional health, your organization, the space you create for yourself, your relational health, your values, your goals, and so much more. Although we cannot possibly touch on all of these aspects, we will be able to bring some insight and perspective on some things that may help you in your wellness journey. We will start the day with an optional early morning nature walk at the Wilber, NE, NRD pond. Following the walk is an optional yoga session that will be given by Becca Orf with an optional mediation session to follow provided by Sara Joy Madsen. The actual retreat will begin at 9:00am CST where we will be honored to have several speakers giving us insight on different aspects of wellness. Guest speakers will include Stephanie Kratochvil, Sara Joy Madsen, Lauren Boline, and Carli Israelson-Reiners. A luncheon will be served following the speakers where there will be plenty of time to eat and have fellowship. There is a charge of $30 which will include lunch, print outs, and a gift bag if you register prior to June 1. All profits will go to the Wilber United Methodist Church for allowing us to have a space to host the event. Please contact Kili Krauter with any questions you have by calling (402)821-7321 or emailing her at [email protected].
