Bass & Co. Candles presents a specialty candle-crafting event in honor of Mother's Day & Mental Health Month. Event concludes at sunset! Requirements: 21 yrs. + up Ok working with mild heat Ok working with glass Non-allergic to perfumes and fragrances Negative for CoVid Cost covers: - 1 - 9 oz candle to take home - Unlimited decorations - Open bar - Refreshments - Bonus *take home gift from host Workshop Outline (4:30pm - 5:30pm) *1-hour long candle-making instruction - 30 mins. ‘Meaning of and benefits of each chakra fragrance oil’ (choose two) - 25 mins. ‘Chemistry of candle-making explained’ - 10 mins. ‘Science behind therapeutic properties discussion’ 10 min. BREAK Wind-down (while candles are drying) 5:45pm - 7:00pm: - 45 mins - Unlimited champagne and hot tea, sparkling water, and desserts - 25 mins. Personalized greeting card activity - 15 mins. Gift wrapping (take home dessert) - 5 mins. Post-survey on class experience; “Did you find it calming/therapeutic”? The ‘WHY’ behind the workshop: Bass & Co. We cater to mental health healing, meditation, mindfulness, and stillness practices. We are not just another candle, we are a public health mission. ... Participants will learn about the therapeutic properties of different floral, earthy, and aromatic scents, how they stimulate the brain, and why they target stress, anxiety, trauma and depression. Participants will craft & take home 9 oz hand-made 100% soy wax candles, made with essential oils, rare fragrances, and decorations of their choosing. Candles will be carefully curated, dried, and packaged. Event is intended to be creative, cohesive, and calming. Rosé, Tea, Sparkling Water & light refreshments will be served.
