Join us for The STATE Of The DISTRICT - Czech Village / New Bohemia featuring the Robert Chadima Visionary Awards. We will be celebrating all the great things that have happened in the District over the past year.  And, even though it’s been a difficult time, you will be amazed at all the accolades due to your friends and neighbors. Celebrate the Main Street Iowa Award Winners who have recently contributed to the vibrancy of the area. Watch the presentation of the Robert Chadima Visionary Awards. This award is presented annually to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the district and reflect Robert Chadima’s vision of entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity for the neighborhood. The event will take place at the Olympic South Side Theater in Cedar Rapids, IA on June 22nd, 2021. Doors open at 11:30am with the Program beginning at Noon. This will be a plated luncheon served by Peppercorn Catering. Mask will be required upon entry, and tables will be socially distanced. This year’s honorees will be announced soon. The DISTRICT is alive and thriving because of many visionaries who have lived and live among us. They have inspired the community with their action, dedication, and love of the district. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 11:30am Doors Open, Networking 12-1pm State Of The DISTRICT, Main Street Iowa Awards, and Presentation of Robert Chadima Visionary Awards Funds raised from this event will be invested back into the Czech Village-New Bohemia Main Street District providing business support, beautification, arts programming, building rehabilitation, and events.
