Join the first ever Ride the Gardens Event where your ride is the one you bring. Tickets are limited, bring the family!
The official opening of the Gardens is May 22. But the city is pre-opening the Gardens on May 21 for the first ever public Ride the Gardens event, and it's free of charge. Load those bikes up and bring out the family. Be the first to enjoy Gilroy’s horticulture and family showcase on two wheels. The only rides operating will the ones you power. All bicycles and scooters welcome!
The coffee shop will be open and stocked with beverages, sweets, and sandwiches. And a food truck will be in the parking lot for hot, prepared onsite food. Collect your Bike to Wherever Bag at the Energizer Station and remember to reserve it by pledging to ride at https://bikesiliconvalley.org/btwd/.
Mayor Marie Blankley will be there to greet everyone and ride around as well. Expect to see members of Gilroy’s BPAC and City council along with your neighborhood friends.
Helmets must be worn while riding and face masks worn in public areas when not. Social distance protocols to be maintained.
This event is limited to 300 people and all participants must bring their eventbrite ticket.
