Join Dr. Bennett for an exclusive CE event on combining Lasers and Appliance Therapy to Treat Patients with Mild to Moderate Sleep Apnea. Course Summary: This course will enhance your understanding on the benefits of laser therapy including Nightlase, gingivectomies, frenectomies and orthodontic bracket rejuvenation. Dr. Bennett will demonstrate how laser therapy can be combined with appliance therapy to treat patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea. Attendees will learn about the laser's clinical usefulness to optimize upper airway breathing function and Dr. Bennett will present case studies demonstrating the effectiveness of laser treatment. He will review the benefits of using laser therapy in combination with appliance therapy to enhance clinical outcomes, as well as the financial benefits to your practice. In addition to lecture, attendees will be provided hands on training and will have the opportunity to practice using the laser with supervision. Course Objectives: • Learn how to take your sleep/pain clinical skillset to the next level with Laser Therapy and enjoy the financial benefits to your practice. • An overview of the science associated with the use of the laser applications--Nightlase, gingivectomies, frenectomies, orthodontic bracket rejuvenation. • Learn about the laser's clinical usefulness to optimize upper airway breathing function from the perspective of a clinician who limited his practice to craniofacial pain and sleep disorders. • Sleep/pain patient case studies will be presented demonstrating the clinical utility of the laser to improve treatment outcomes. • Attendees will be provided a hands-on Nightlase and Smoothlase laser demonstration and will have an opportunity to practice the Nightlase technique on each other with supervision. ABOUT DR. BENNETT After 12 years of a busy general dental practice, Dr. Bennett limited his practice to the treatment of chronic craniofacial pain and sleep disorders which he has enjoyed for the past 10 years. He has received board certifi cation status in the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and the American Board of Craniofacial Sleep Medicine. His formal academic education began at Brigham Young University receiving a Bachelor of Business Management and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Recently he completed the fi rst year in the Ph.D. Health Professions Education program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He dreams of building a dental school with a sleep/ airway/nutrition orientation and building bridges with all other healthcare providers to improve patient lives. He has enjoyed a successful practice treating primary headaches, neuralgia, neuropathy, TMD, bruxism, and skeletal hypoplasia. He is a Vivos Clinical Advisor and mentors doctors who have incorporated the Vivos System into their practices. Above all, he is a happy husband to Cathy, father of six ages 16 to 28, and grandfather to three beautiful granddaughters. He loves to learn anything that can be applied to helping improve another person’s quality of life.
