GREENLAWN, NY — A man accused of stabbing another man in his head on Sunday night in Greenlawn was arrested, Suffolk police said.
A 44-year-old Huntington Station man was sitting in the driver's seat of his vehicle in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, at 247 Broadway, when he was approached by three men at 9 p.m., police said. One of the men, Raheem Miller, 41, of Greenlawn, stabbed the man in the head, police said. Miller and the other two men fled before officers arrived, police said.
The stabbing victim was brought to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore to be treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.
Miller was arrested a short time later at his home, police said.
Miller was charged with second-degree assault. He was held overnight at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
