Pool Service Maintenance & Repair Technician Monster Pool Company is looking for a reliable and hard-working service & repair technician that is knowledgeable with pool service, maintenance and repairs. This is a year round position. As a pool service technician, you will be responsible for servicing a weekly pool service route that is assigned to you, as well as diagnosing any issues, completing repairs, installing pool equipment and performing seasonal maintenance like filter cleanings, filter cartridge change outs, pool drains, acid washes and/or chlorine rinses. During your weekly service route, you will need to perform basic pool services such as brushing walls, skimming & netting the pools, cleaning out baskets, vacuuming and checking and balancing water chemistry. The majority of the work will be performed in the west valley. REQUIREMENTS: All applicants MUST (no exceptions please:) Be reliable, be able to work unsupervised, and be able start work early and work long hours sometimes Have at least 1 year of experience in POOL REPAIR Be knowledgeable of the different manufacturers and types of pool equipment Be able to tolerate the outdoors, heat and be able to lift 90 lbs Be able to communicate effectively to management and customers when needed Be organized and have ability to check email and access the internet Have a valid AZ drivers license, a clean driving record and be drug-free Have a high school diploma or equivalent Be able to work legally in the US *Applicants with a criminal history not be considered for this position* COMPENSATION: As a pool maintenance and repair technician, you will earn up to $16/hr. Your pay is based on your knowledge and experience level. Starting pay may be adjusted depending on knowledge. Training will be paid. There will be opportunities to earn more as we pay piece work on repairs. Be prepared to work at least 25 hours a week up to a 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday with possibility for overtime paid at time and a half pay rate. Sick pay is earned during the first year and after one year of continued employment, one week of paid vacation is given. We offer 401K with company matching. We are looking for someone who can start immediately upon qualification. Minimum of 1 year pool service and repair experience is REQUIRED.
