RAMSEY, NJ — Don Bosco Prep hosted oscar-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri last Tuesday. The Bronx native gave students a motivational speech about hard work and answered questions from the audience
Palminteri told students what he believes to be the two most important things to succeed: "Be good at what you do, and be well-liked."
The actior is for films like "The Usual Suspects," and "A Bronx Tale," which he developed from stage production to a Hollywood film starring Robert De Niro. He was nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor, for his role in "Bullets Over Broadway," 1995.
"You have to have determination in life," Palminteri said. "Don't let anybody tell you you can't do something because you can. The choices you make will shape you forever. Believe in yourself. Be the best you can be."
