OAKLAND, NJ — Registration is open for the Oakland Summer Softball Camp, which is being held between June 28 and July 2, at the Indian Hills High School. Girls between 4th and 9th grade, from all experience levels, can sign up using this link. Attendance is $125 dollars The five-day camp is of an instructional nature, focusing on fundamental softball skills. Sessions run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and are coached by Joe Leicht, with the help of four assistant coaches. Leicht has been named Bergen County softball coach of the year, Northeast United States Coach of the year, and NJSIAA softball coach of the year, according to the Borough of Oakland.
