Taylor Robinson Drum Clinic “How to Listen, How to Speak” a workshop on studio and live drumming Join us at Palace Pub and Wine Bar for a masterclass from Session Drummer, Songwriter, Producer, and Recording Artist Taylor Robinson. Taylor, a Berklee College Of Music Alumn has performed at some of the nations most celebrated venues and festivals including Red Rocks, The Fillmore West, Bonnaroo, Music Midtown, Outside Lands and more. His recordings have been featured on national radio stations and have been released on major labels including Sony, Emi, and Universal Music Group. The class will focus on musicality and interfacing with other musicians in real time. It will get to the heart of the drum set and it’s place in music creation. He will cover the many rolls he’s been asked to play in his career and how different genres and artists require different approaches. While the clinic will focus on drumming fundamentals it will also be a class in music making and performance from the perspective of a drummer. All ages and instruments are welcome. The class will be immediately followed by a jam in which all are welcome to participate.
