Funeral Services Set For Victims Of Northwest Austin Shooting

AUSTIN, TX — Funeral arrangements have been made for the three victims who were shot and killed in northwest Austin last week. Services for Amanda and Alyssa Broderick will take place at Oakcrest Funeral Home of Waco at noon Monday. The funeral home will live-stream the services on its Facebook page, according to KVUE and the Austin American-Statesman. Services for Willie Simmons III will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in East Austin. Amanda Broderick, her daughter, Alyssa Broderick and her daughter's boyfriend, Willie Simmons III were killed near the Arboretum apartment complex on April 18. Alyssa Broderick and Simmons III were current and former students in Elgin ISD.
