Property Management: Handyman/Driver Wanted

We are a property management company in San Francisco, serving SF and surrounding areas. We need somebody who likes to fix things and help our properties to look good! Ideally we want a long term employee to grow with our company. There certainly is a path to advancement with our company! Your working day would involve driving a company van or truck (mostly) around San Francisco, making repairs and cosmetic improvements to all of the properties that we manage. Our company has been in business for 22+ years; we are very stable and focused on doing a good job for our clients. We are looking for a serious minded person with a good driving record, a person who likes people, and likes to have things kept in order. A retired or semi-retired person is fine. A young person is fine. Anybody is fine, as long as they have a serious attitude and a good work ethic! Ideally the candidate for this position is well-experienced in making many simple household repairs (see below), but for the right person with less experience, we can provide training. The Position Maintenance tasks performed: ● Household repairs ● Landscape maintenance ● Lock changes ● Painting ● Property inspections ● Pickups and Deliveries ● Other related tasks Other tasks ● Deliveries/pickups ● Property inspections ● Walk-through inspections ● Other related duties Requirements ● Good people skills ● Valid Drivers license with good driving record ● Have Smart phone (some reimbursement of charges) Employment Details Employment Status: This is an hourly employee position, with income fully reported and taxes deducted. No contract-employment, and no under-the-table, no “off-the-books” payment is allowed. If you are Benefits: Health care stipend; 401K after vesting period, credit for cell phone use Pay: Depending on experience $23 to $25 to start, 30-40 hours per week. Scheduled increases commensurate with progress. Parking garage. Company vehicle will be garaged at either Pacifica CA or San Francisco, CA. Your vehicle is allowed to park there when company vehicle is in use. Path of Advancement. We like to promote from within, and this is not a dead-end job.
