Full benefits including PTO, health insurance, 401K, Employment type: Full-time We are an established real estate and property management company seeking a senior technician with supervisory experience for maintenance/handyman projects and supervising a crew of six handymen for properties located mainly in the Mid-Peninsula area. We are a long term, stable company that operates year-round. We are looking for qualified applicants who are reliable and have a good work ethic. QUALIFICATIONS: -College preferred -Minimum 10 years of building maintenance or construction preferred -Legally authorized to work in the U.S. -Honest with high integrity and clear criminal history and good driving record (DMV, criminal background and drug test required) -Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. Such as: Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting, Cleaning and General Repair -Ability to work independently -Ability to troubleshoot repairs with little or no supervision -Maintain a clean, neat appearance -Be considerate of clients and their homes/businesses while performing maintenance tasks -Read, speak and write English -Excellent communication skills - Work Authorization Required COMPUTER SKILLS -Ability to take instructions when necessary -Self-starter - proficient with Android applications MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS -Must have ability to use client input, time tracking and other computer applications -Ability to use Microsoft Word is a plus -Time Management and ability to show up on time and ready to work SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: As senior handyman delegate and prioritize work and supervise crew of 5-6 handymen 1. Perform maintenance and repair tasks including sheetrock, woodwork, light fixtures, appliances, plumbing, electrical, loose handrails or grab bars, loose door knobs or door fixtures, replacing light bulbs and light fixture as needed. 2. Light remodel including shelving, flooring, cabinets, light fixtures etc. 3. Assess and identify issues and calculate rough estimates on jobs Must be willing to submit a full background check, and a DMV Report.
