Junior Firefighter Camp Overview The Hardin County Fire Department will be hosting a Junior Firefighter Camp. This is for anyone in Hardin County age 13-17 that would like to learn more about the fire service and emergency services as a whole. The cost of the camp is free, and registration closes May 24th. The camp will last 3 days from 9am - 2pm each day. Lunch will be provided to campers on-site each day at no charge. Campers will get to become CPR certified, handle equipment, learn about the different apparatus we have, conduct training simulations, learn how to use a fire extinguisher, and more.
