adopt 2 y.o. "Willie" Am. Bulldog mix

Willie was found as a stray in Covelo, and brought to the Ukiah shelter where he was fixed, microchipped and given all his shots. It became evident after several visits with him in the kennel that he is very sweet, affectionate, and wants people to like him. Last week I brought him home to my ranch with several other dogs of all types, and he is having the time of his life. In a very short time hes learned manners (human/canine) basic obedience, recall, impulse control, to swim and to fetch. With a clicker, training is a breeze. Initially hated going in the kennel, but with conditioning he now goes right in with the wave of a hand. Willie is NOT a pit bull! I have three of them/mixes, and can tell the difference. He has a solid temperament, grace under pressure, and takes corrections like a champ. He will continue to stay in foster with me until he is adopted to a good home, but the adoption coodinator @ is the person to talk to about an application.
