Description
CRANSTON, RI — Cranston is working to make COVID-19 testing accessibility more accessible for city residents. Two community organizations teamed up to offer free, rapid tests to residents via new, mobile testing vans.
The van will be parked at the Cranston Public Library's Central Library on Sockanosset Cross Road from May 3 through 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No appointments or proof of insurance will be required to get a test.
Residents will be offered Binax NOW/Rapid antigen tests, with results available in 15 minutes.
The mobile test site was created though a partnership between OneCranston Health Equity Zone and the Comprehensive Community Action Program.
