We are looking for a full-time employee to join the pack! Part time hours available also! We are looking for someone interested in long term employment, with a strong work ethic and accountability. We are a fun, laid-back, and hard working group! PLEASE NOTE: Recent experience working with dogs a must to be considered. Applicant must be a motivated, professional, mature and responsible individual. Shifts are as follows: M-F: 6:30a-1p, 7a-1p, 12:30p-6:30 or 7p ***New applicant would be primarily working 6:30 or 7am-1p until fully trained.*** Currently, due to Covid, we have suspended all weekend and holiday hours, however weekends and holidays may be required on rotation in the future. Responsibilities : *Monitoring large groups of dogs in a pack play/off leash environment indoors and out. *Cleaning the facility; including mopping/vacuuming, cleaning walls, dusting, taking trash out, disinfecting play yards. *Bathing dogs occasionally. *Cleaning up after the dogs, can not be squeamish! *Light customer service; answering phones, taking reservations, greeting customers. Requirements : *Previous experience working in a pack environment/off leash play is largely preferred (dog ownership is not considered experience), or similar dog handling environment. *Knowledge of dog behavior and body language. *Knowledge of dog breeds. *Must have reliable transportation. *Good communications skills. *Must be able to remain patient and calm in a hectic environment. *Be able to identify undesirable play behavior and safely correct it. *Implement positive reinforcement. *Be able to lift 50lbs. *Ability to stand for the majority of the duration of shift (5-6 hours). *Flexibility. *Professional appearance. *Customer service experience a plus. *Strong work ethic, knows how to keep busy in down time. *You must have a genuine love of animals, especially dogs!
