If so, keep reading: Our company, Palmer Residential, is looking for an carpenter assistant – our company calls this position a “field remodeler”, who is wanting and willing to learn. We have a 90 day training program to help set up you up for success. Overall Responsibilities: • Ask questions often • We expect 100% transparency and will give that in return • Participation in your learning • Best effort and positive attitude given daily • Participation in team meetings • Communication via email and phone with team members – with proper set up on both from day one. • The field remodeler will represent our company with proper hygiene and clothing • Respect and security of our clients’ homes • The field remodeler will be a contributing team member who delivers consistently exceptional customer service. • Maintain a clean job site throughout the day on a daily basis • Learn, understand, and keep up on jobsite protection (just barriers, floor coverings, etc.) • Learn about tools, clean tools, organize tools, and store tools correctly Skills Requirements: • Must consistently be punctual and show up on time daily • Complete 90 day training program • You must have a reliable vehicle • Must possess a high school diploma or a GED • Have a proficient level of reading and writing to communicate well with team members and clients • Be able to read a tape measure • Comfortable handling power tools • Have the ability to ask questions • High level of attention to detail • Prior carpentry experience desired but not required. *The successful candidate will already embody and live up to our company core values.
