Facing Staffing Shortage, 350 Hospitality Jobs Open In KOP Area

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A major career and hiring fair will be held next week in Montgomery County as the local hospitality industry faces a pandemic-involved staffing shortage. Hundreds of jobs are now available through local restaurants and hotels. The May 4 fair will take place at the Alloy hotel in King of Prussia from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. King of Prussia District is offering $20,000 in bonuses to the first group of individuals hired at the fair. "Coming off a difficult year, it's difficult for us to hear that our hotels and restaurants are struggling to staff up for the increased business," said Eric Goldstein, the executive director of King of Prussia District. "We hope that by highlighting the many reasons why KOP is great place to work and offering an extra incentive with the bonus, we can encourage people to start the next chapter in their employment journey in King of Prussia." Some 350 jobs or more are available for people with a wide variety of experience levels, ranging from entry-level to management. There are 29 local establishments participating in the fair, including Ave King of Prussia, Bahama Breeze, Bartaco, Bonefish Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chick-fil-A, Chili's Grill and Bar, Crowne Plaza King of Prussia, Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, Founding Farmers , Grand Lux Café, Holiday Inn Express & Suites King of Prussia, Honeygrow, Hyatt House King of Prussia, Maggiano's Little Italy, Mission BBQ, Morgan's Brooklyn Barbecue, Outback Steakhouse , Paladar Latin Kitchen, Seasons 52, Shake Shack, Sullivan's Steakhouse, Sweetgreen, Alloy, Capital Grille , True Food Kitchen, Valley Forge Casino & Resort, and Wurzak Hotel Group.
