Hello! Jim L here, lead guitarist for The Remedy (530), the Tone Pilots, Petty Jack Flash and various other configurations. I'm a seasoned lead guitarist available for Classic Rock, British Invasion, Blues, Blues-rock, R&B, Country-rock, some classic country, Tribute, Theme bands, B-side, maybe throw in an acoustic set?, etc. I can help with background vocals (baritone) and an occasional lead vocal. It's been a really tough year for playing live music, but I've made good use of the downtime to immerse myself in Steely Dan, Floyd, Stevie, Duane, Jimi, Mark Knopfler, a musical sabbatical of sorts that has given me the opportunity to stretch myself and keep my fingers limber. But now that I'm vaccinated and things may be opening up soon (assuming we don't screw it up), I thought I would see what's out there. I would prefer to join an existing band, but will consider start-ups with other seasoned, easy going, low-drama, veteran musicians. It's gotta be really good, and it has to be fun! Stability, a sense of humor and a willingness to not take one's self too seriously are a big plus. Oh, and I love getting home before 3 am! If this sounds like a good fit, please tell me what you've got going on. Demos (even low-fi cell phone videos), set lists, goals and expectations would be appreciated.
