Description

This position is responsible for loading furniture merchandise at our warehouse on the transfer truck and safely driving it to our showroom location, then unloading, unboxing and building furniture for placement at the showroom. A positive attitude and long-term commitment is required. Wrapping and pulling furniture at the warehouse and loading it on the transfer truck. Unloading new merchandise for the showroom floor Checking in furniture to the truck and then as it arrives to the store Stripping/assembling furniture for the floor, and assisting with price tagging Moving new furniture to the floor as directed by director of merchandise Assisting with furniture moves and picture/mirror hanging Pulling, wrapping, assembling, and loading out furniture for customer pick-ups Receiving shipments Breaking down pallets of accessories and checking them in off the packing slip Labeling special order rugs with customers' names and hanging new stock rugs and returned rugs on the rug racks General cleanup and heavy lifting Clean driving record required. Other duties as assigned 40 hours per week. Pay: $17.00/hour
