Job Description For over forty years Perrone Construction has built Sarasota’s finest custom homes and we are searching for a Construction Laborer who takes pride in their work and who is a team player. Current Role would work primarily in the Venice, FL area, but may be required to work in Sarasota, Long Boat Key and other surrounding areas. Job description – Construction Laborer Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including Hammer, drill, screwdriver, and other tools as directed by management. Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, digging, painting, and sweeping up. Understand and Follow all safety procedures on the job site. Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily. Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment. Help equipment operators, electricians, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary, with the ability to listen and desire to learn. Must be Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs. Required: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license & personal transportation a must Preferred: One or more years of experience in construction and/or customer service Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
