ATLANTA — An Atlanta Police officer resigned last week amid sexual assault allegations, police are reporting. Police officials learned of the complaint against the officer on March 30, according to a statement from the department. The incident, which happened on March 25, involved an on-duty male officer forcing a woman to perform a sex act, according to the police incident report. The officer was relieved of duty the day police learned of the incident, according to police statements.
