Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 04/25/2021 Case #211151525 Preliminary information: On April 25, 2021, at around 7:15 P.M. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Piedmont Rd and Alpine Rd on an Auto Accident. Upon arrival, Driver stated that the victim's vehicle was traveling on Piedmont Rd at a high rate of speed when he collided with another vehicle causing his vehicle to overturn. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Grady where he later died. The other driver was in stable condition. The victim's information has not yet been released. The Accident Investigations Unit responded to the scene and is working to determine the circumstances surrounding this accident.   Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and could change as the investigation progresses or new information comes to light.   This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
