PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION The role of an ASCS Service Technician is to be the customer-facing representative that provides excellent service and care to clean our customer’s air ducts and dryer vents for both commercial and residential customers. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS - Activities require handling and grasping with the hands when performing cleaning or restoration of various duct systems by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls, and other small parts. - Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs. - Exposure to loud noise, dust, gas or fumes, and chemicals. - Work in confined spaces and in unprotected weather elements. - Ability to wear hearing and eye protection as required. - Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and crawl for prolonged periods of time. - Ability to climb over heavy equipment or maneuver through ceiling crawl spaces. DUTIES - Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all safety procedures. - Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions with customers as required. - Follow standard operating and industry procedures. - Clean equipment. - Attend formal training as requested. - Load and unload equipment. - Prepare new equipment for use as requested. - Perform maintenance check on rental equipment before and after use for damage, tires, fuel levels, battery levels, safety decals, and safety compliance. - Other duties as assigned.
