50ish drummer looking for some other musicians—guitar, bass, keys, singer, etc. who have not given up on the idea of putting together a band to create some original rock music. While I have a really broad range of interests—the Doors, Steely Dan, Van Hagar, Rush, Duran Duran, U2, Tears for Fears, Crowded House, Joe Jackson, Metallica, the Pixies, the Smiths, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, (I could go on and on, but I will spare you)—I am really looking for a group of people who just get along together, enjoy playing together, and just want to have fun creating some music that we are proud of. I am past the stage of having dreams of fame and fortune (but would still like to play out); I just want to have fun creating music with a group of people who have fun together in a no pressure environment.
