Dairy Production Associate needed! Smiling Hill Farm is a dairy farm located in Westbrook, Maine that produces, processes and distributes milk, ice cream, cheeses, yogurt, butter and other dairy products. We are looking for a production associate for our Dairy Processing Team. This person will be involved in the preparation, processing, packaging and storage of our dairy products. All aspects of our milk processing will be involved including washing & sanitizing our glass bottles to filling them with our fresh, local milk. The small size of our farm business means that each person contributes to many aspects of our production. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable and MUST have an attention to detail. Our customers expect & deserve the very best quality dairy products and a safe & sanitary work environment is necessary. This is hands-on rigorous work, which can be physically demanding, but very rewarding. We require a person that is responsible, capable and motivated to contribute to a team effort with results that they can take ownership & pride in. You should have a passion for learning with an inquisitiveness and desire to constantly improve. Experience in the food-service industry is preferred but not necessary. What we are looking for... - Experience in the food-service industry is preferred but not necessary. - A strong work history is desired. - Must be over 18 years old. - Be able to lift at least 60 lbs. - Have reliable transportation. - Be dependable and willing to be part of a team. This position is full-time and will offer the opportunity for you to learn new skills and contribute your talents in other areas of our farm. Our production is Mon-Thurs (four 10 hour days) with weekends off although there is the potential for occasional weekend hours.
