HIRING FOR, MULTIPLE POSITIONS: - Rooms Preventative Maintenance - Maintenance Worker The Ideal Candidate for this Position Are you often told you are an outgoing, positive, friendly person? This is not a Monday thru Friday job, but it is for you if you love people, are professional and have the right attitude! Experience is preferred. Purpose of Position To maintain the hotel facility and all hotel assets to the Pax standards of cleanliness, safety and appearance What You Will Be Doing Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, and/or public spaces as required, including flipping/inspecting mattresses, box springs and assembling bed frames, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting, touch-up furniture ensuring that all necessary hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting and repairing grout and caulking. Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor. Job Requirements 1. Assists Chief Engineer with all maintenance and preventative maintenance as outlined by POP. 2. Monitors electric, gas, and water consumption and documents daily. 3.Complete any assigned projects while maintaining budget, schedule and quality as determined by the Chief Engineer 4. Signs in and out the master keys and any found guest room keys are returned to management daily. 5. Maintains cleanliness of grounds and landscaping according to POP. 6. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of all workspaces and storage rooms according to POP 7. Prepares for, attends, and contributes to the weekly level 10 meetings. 8. Performs daily inspection of interior and exterior lighting, fixtures, and furnishings daily. 9. Communicates with the front desk regularly to ensure all tickets are addressed in a timely manner according to POP 10. Addresses any customer concerns or complaints and reports to Management daily. 11. Completes daily report before clocking out for the day 12.
