Interior Plant Care Technician Greenleaf Interior Plant Solutions is a premier San Diego indoor plant care company providing superior plant maintenance service to commercial and residential accounts. We are looking for an experienced, part time (leading to full time) Interior Plant Care Technician who is friendly, honest, hard-working, reliable, loves working with plants, is dedicated to outstanding customer service and able to work independently as well as with our team. Job Duties: • Responsible for watering, fertilizing, cleaning of plants at our accounts. • Keep plants trimmed of damaged or unsightly foliage. • Removing debris from pots and planters and maintaining them in a neat and orderly manner. • Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls and furniture from water and/or moisture. • Be able to identify pests and diseases, treat when needed and remove plant if needed. • Maintaining staging and top dressing of plants and pots for proper presentation. • Loading and unloading of supplies from trucks: large pots, plants, soil and other warehouse supplies. Job Requirements: • Strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude and ability to follow instructions. • Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and have a neat and clean appearance. • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently; maintaining proper time records daily. • Ability to communicate effectively with manager regarding account concerns – by text, phone and email. • Ability to use a computer and smart phone for daily communication with manager. • Must be able to walk constantly throughout the day; bending, squatting, and occasionally climbing a ladder. • Must be able to lift 10 pounds continuously throughout the day with occasional lifting of 55 pounds. • Ability to safely use and maintain company tools scissors, pruners, hoses and other small tools. • Must have reliable transportation. • Ability to drive company vehicle in a safe manner. • Have a California driver's license and clean driving record. • Ability to pass a background check as well as a drug and alcohol test.
