Hello! We started a pandemic-pod, outdoor preschool with a couple families in 2020, and we have an opening for a three- to five-year-old child. It is especially great for kids that like self-directed play and enjoy unstructured time in nature. The teacher focuses on social-emotional skills, art and science, and kindergarten readiness. If you think it might be a good fit for your family, I'd be happy to send more info. Schedule: Five days a week (M-F) from 8:30 to 12:30 all year in all weather. Three weeks off in summer (Jun 14-28 & Aug 16-27) and two weeks off over winter break. We also take OSU holidays off. Location: The outdoor preschool is in SE Corvallis. The kids have a covered, outdoor classroom and about two acres that are fully fenced including an organic garden, a small orchard, an open field, and a majestic cedar. Covid: We are doing everything we can to keep our families and community safe. Parents and the teacher take COVID precautions seriously, including social distancing and wearing masks. Students wear masks too.
