We are a reputable tow company, in business for over 25 years. We are looking for several qualified applicants to fill day, afternoon, evening, overnight and weekend hours. Men and women encouraged to apply. Qualified person must have a valid Nebraska drivers license, with an excellent driving record. No DUI's, Willful Reckless, or Negligent Driving in the past 3 years. Must be able to pass a 50 state criminal background check. We are looking for drivers with common sense, the ability to problem solve, and be self-motivated. Towing experience is not necessary, we will train qualified applicants, however, you must be able to drive a manual transmission and have some experience in backing up. Knowledge of the streets in Lincoln is a must. We work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all holidays. However, not all drivers work all holidays, so don't panic. We work when it is 100 degrees out, or 20 below zero. But if you enjoy being outside, doing something different everyday, working with the public, and working with law enforcement this may be the right position for you. This will not be a 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday job. You will have a set schedule, it just won't be bankers hours. A level head and ability to keep your calm is a must. We can and do deal with upset, angry, defensive people who are not having a good day, we need drivers with the ability to empathize with them, not escalate a situation. You must be able to lift 60lbs multiple times a day, and be mechanically inclined, such as knowing the difference between a rear-wheel drive vehicle, a front-wheel drive vehicle, an all-wheel drive vehicle, and a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Minimum age is 21 years old. This is not the old towing job where you are paid minimum wage. Wages + over-time, + commission + bonus can equal a very good paycheck if you are willing to put in the work. The more skills you learn, such as towing, lock-outs, driving the flat-bed, driving the motorcycle truck, the more we pay you. The more money you make for us, the more money you make. It's that simple. Work a Friday or Saturday night and it is possible to double your hourly paycheck. For part-time, come in and see if we can work with the hours you are available. We will provide: Competitive hourly pay, depending on experience. Uniforms are furnished. Paid vacation after you complete 1 year of employment. We pay 1/2 of your health insurance after 90 days of employment. Christmas bonus. Commission, bonus and over-time offered in addition to hourly rate. AND....a $2000 signing bonus, with half paid on your 6 month anniversary, and the second half paid on your 1 year anniversary with minimum number of hours worked, and no damage claims.
