Service Manager: MacCo Service, the service division of MacCo Services, one of the leading family owned and operated Plumbing & HVAC contractors in New England, is seeking an experienced Plumbing/HVAC Service Manager to join its rapidly growing department. Qualifications: 5-7 years industry experience Prior management and sales experience strongly desired Solid knowledge of industry practices Excellent leadership, communication, sales and customer services skills Computer literacy and ability to learn industry specific software High level of organizational skills Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a face-paced work environment while under pressure Job tasks and responsibilities: Delegating and directing service tasks such as, but not limited to: Monitoring the progress of current projects Managing service team members to ensure team’s objectives and sales goals are met Resolving department, service desk, and client issues while consistently working towards improving existing service methods, while creating new practices to increase the departments productivity and customer service Handling customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive customer relationships and ensure repeat customers Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company’s high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors and sales representatives Helping to train new employees in company methods & procedures Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws while ensuring the company’s adherence to them Remaining current on the industry’s standards, new innovations, materials, tools and processes Assisting with or performing administrative tasks such as but not limited to: Managing and updating invoices Processing new orders Tracking inventory Answering service calls EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Insurance Long Term/Short Term Disability and Life Insurance 401K Retirement Plan with up to 4% Employer Match Annual Company Outings EMPLOYEE CONVENIENCE Paid Weekly Direct Deposit
