Service Dispatcher: MacCo Service, the service division of MacCo Services, one of the leading family owned and operated Plumbing & HVAC contractors in New England, is seeking an experienced Plumbing/HVAC Service Dispatcher to join its rapidly growing department. Qualifications: • 2-3 years dispatching experience required • Plumbing & HVAC experience required • Exceptional communication abilities • Strong attention to detail • High Level of organizational skills • Computer literacy and ability to learn industry specific software • Ability to work in a face-paced work environment while under pressure Job tasks and responsibilities: • Scheduling and dispatching Plumbing & HVAC technicians, vehicles/equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs • Relaying information such as work orders and/or other messages to and from customers, technicians or other staff • Engaging in phone calls, text messages or emails to contact employees or other personnel • Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for service or other related tasks • Preparing daily work, such as: o Daily work schedules o Preparing and receiving work orders for Plumbing & HVAC technicians o Keeping and organizing items such as, but not limited to:  work requests  customer requests  completed work orders  charges for work performed  expenses  inventory records
