Person with knowledge of A/V systems needed

I recently bought an attachment (sound) to my audio/video system and someone attached it all together. Unfortunately it wasn't done to my satisfaction and I am in need of someone who knows how it all goes together so that 5 or 6 remote controls don't get involved. I need someone who is familiar with these devices to get them all together so that as few remotes are needed to get it all working. Should be easy for someone who knows what they are doing. Reply and tell me about yourself and your experience with such matters. Thanks
