North Carolina prepares for climate change

Description

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Twenty-five coastal communities will have money from the state to better prepare for natural hazards. The funding is geared to drive better-informed decision making at the local level and initiatives that reduce risk and vulnerability to flooding, storms and other effects of climate change. -------------------‐------------ Even red states shall succumb to the effects of man caused climate changes. There is no amount of denying that will ebb the tides of climate change, but, if they keep dredging sand from the sea floors to be piled into a "sea wall" on their once beautiful beaches, then the homes on those beaches might, although personally I doubt it, survive for a few years. I bet that's going to get expensive....placing sand on the shore to only have it wash away.
