They say FREE and then ask for a much higher fee than a rehoming fee ought to be, which is $20.00 to $40.00. A rehoming fee should be just enough to discourage people from taking little ones to SELL, use as DOG BAIT, or SNAKE FOOD. When there is no fee "FREE" the cons, lowlifes, and skanks come out. NO FEE means more profit for the scammers and most often a sad future or even horror for the kittens (or puppies) left to this fate. These heartless creeps have no guilt selling an adorable 2-3 lb baby kitten to snake owners, dog fighters, or resellers. I am not trying to horrify you but please, think of the terror a kitten feels when she is thrown down in front of a python, pitbull, or? These people feed mostly mice and rats, but FREE kittens are a - win, win. In this arena, tiny sweet terrified kittens are eaten by snakes, or horribly tortured and torn apart to motivate dogs to kill, or they are sold. When they are offered kittens for FREE, these folks come along and I cannot call them people or humans. They pretend to adopt them and then they sell them. This is better than using them for snake or dog food, but, sadly, it is rare that these little ones are cared for, even minimally. They are rarely fed, loved, or interacted with properly. That is why you see so many ads on here (if you pay attention) for sick kittens and puppies being SOLD. PLEASE. I BEG YOU. HELP STOP THIS HORROR. I believe most people want no part of this sick shit, so please, please, remember, these are tiny, innocent, loving beings. NOT TO MENTION...THERE ARE NO SALES ALLOWED ON CRAIGSLIST So...WHY ARE THERE SO DAMNED MANY? Because low-life lazy creeps profit by pimping kittens and puppies. HOLY CRAP, How damn low can you go??? These people try to sound like good, kind people that just happen to have 4 -6- 8 kittens. But when good people offer to rescue them with a guarantee that they will be vet checked, spayed/neutered, taken care of while they recover in a family home, not a pound, and then find them vetted homes, these creeps do not answer or send insults? WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE LYING ABOUT WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SIDE NOTE: In many instances, these creeps do not have any kittens or puppies, it's all a ruse to sucker in good people who want a little one to love then they steal your information. I apologize for going on so long but I am heartbroken by all the cold money-hungry abusive asses on here. If you believe in goodness, karma, all things worthy and kind...please do not buy here and flag the scammers. A post for "FREE kittens" today would not give them (free kittens) to a local rescue that will make sure (as sure as you can) that they have a chance for a great life. Where a vet will check them (the day they are picked up) before they go to a private home, then they are spayed/neutered and they are loved and cared for while they heal and recover, approximately 7-10 days, not at the pound or in a cage, in a family home. After which potential adoptive parents are vetted and sign an agreement to return the little one to the rescue if they change their minds or have a life situation making it impossible for them to keep the kitten. WOW I could go on and on but if you don't get it by now... do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
