Specialty Perimeter Conceptz, Inc. (SPC) a premier supplier of Turn-Key Barrier Cable Systems throughout the Southeast from Florida to Texas and north to Virginia. SPC’s client base includes some of the largest general contractors in the country. We work with our clients to provide design services, materials and installation of the Barrier Cable System. Our employees fill flexible job positions to help encourage growth within the position and contribute to SPC’s long term business needs. We are currently seeking Field Installation personnel. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable and responsible as well have good people skills while working as part of a team on large commercial construction sites. Position: Barrier Cable Field Installation Position Location: Columbus, GA Description of work: • Travel to project location in company vehicle • Typically, home every weekend • Occasional weekend stays could be required. • Install steel supports to concrete via bolting or welding. • Install barrier cable system using hydraulic stressing gear. Education and Experience: • Prior construction experience preferred. • Welding experience is a plus • Prior experience in Post-Tensioning Industry and/or Barrier Cable Installation is a plus but not required. Will Train. • Ability to use construction tools such as rotary hammer drills, grinders, etc. • Must be able to lift heavy materials and equipment. • Must be able to pull heavy lengths of steel cable through supports repeatedly bending to ground level. Required Skills: • Must speak English • Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment • Ability to take direction and perform specific tasks without direct supervision • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must have clean driving record Ideal Candidate: A fast learner who shows initiative and willingness to learn new things. Job Type: Hourly Full-time with Overtime. Compensation: Minimum $15.00 Per Hour.
