Generator Technician Helper

Jobs

17 DUVAL ST, Fort Walton Beach FL

Description

We're looking to add a technician/helper to our crew. Prior experience in a mechanical field is preferred. Generator experience is not necessary, as we'll train the right person. You must have a valid driver's license, as our work area ranges from Pensacola - Panama City - Crestview. We have work vehicles. We have tools. We just need you! Most of the time, you're going to work with one of our other technicians, helping with oil changes, troubleshooting, repairs and installs. You'll be working with someone else until you're comfortable going out on your own, but even then, most of the time, we work in pairs. Most of our company consists of retired military with mechanical backgrounds, who did not work on generators prior to joining us, and learned along the way (and sometimes, are still learning!). We work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. It's very rare that we work outside those hours, but it can happen. Usually during bad storms when a generator fails. Emergency Standby Power has been in the area for close to 15 years, and our other company, Jack's Marine Service, has been around for many more than that, so we're not going anywhere! Starting pay is $15 an hour. Send me a resume and we'll set up an interview! Christopher Schumacher Manager, Emergency Standby Power
