Job Description: As a Dryer Vent Technician, you will provide professional dryer vent cleaning, repair, and maintenance services for residential and commercial locations. 80% of the service calls we perform uncover at least one aspect of the dryer or vent system that is not code-compliant. You will learn “everything dryers” and be able to not only clean residential and commercial systems, but also provide valuable safety and energy savings recommendations to our customers. You will learn from technicians with 20+ years of experience and work in teams. You will feel very competent and confident when you step into your own service vehicle for the first time. Duties: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Properly maintain company vehicle and equipment keeping it clean, and in good working condition Complete an inspection and make a proper assessment upon arrival to the home Present a professional estimate and educate the customer on dryer performance and safety issues Answer any questions and provide complete responses Professionally service the customer’s dryer & vent system Provide additional applicable products/services as presented to the customer based on the inspection results Prepare accurate assessment and invoice upon completion of work Skills / Qualifications: Reliable & Punctual Strong communicate skills with management, customers, and team members Experience in any of the following is a plus: HVAC, handyman work, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or construction Strong comfort level working with tools Ability to climb and handle ladders Able to work on rooftops Can work within constricted spaces; behind dryers & sometimes in attics Able to work independently and solve problems Available Monday through Friday 8am to 5PM with occasional Saturday work.
