Lone Star Axe Throwing is looking to hire an associate to be a Throwing Coach and event host. We want fun and energetic people that like to engage with our guests and keep things safe, while ensuring an incredible experience! Delivering a primitive and immersive experience to those who love adventure, those who seek a release. Job Brief: • The THROWING COACH is responsible for the safety and security of the customers. • He/she will represent Lone Star Axe Throwing in a positive and energetic manner to welcome each guest and teach how to effectively throw an axe, throwing stars, shovels, and hatchets to the target. Responsibilities: • Train guests of rules and regulations. • Ensure guests are treated in a positive and enthusiastic way. • Continuously monitor throwers to ensure safety of all guests. • Assist guests with requests and needs. • Replace target boards as needed. • Sweep pit areas between throwing sessions. • Keep tables clean of excess garbage. • Empty garbage regularly and at end of shift. • Clean & sanitize tables at end of shift. • Clean & sanitize back bathroom. Requirements: • Must be at least 21 years old. • Ability to provide a welcoming and fun environment to customers. • TABC servers license (will provide certification if needed)– beer and wine bar • Excellent communication skills with both customers and fellow employees. • Attention to detail and safety. • Strong multitasking & problem-solving skills. • Ability to work well with diverse teams.
