WE NEED A HELPER TO ASSIST AT OUR DETAIL SHOP/CAR LOT/BODY SHOP/REPAIR SHOP ***Need somebody to assist the detailer in getting cars ready to sell - Vacuum, wetsand, high speed compound, buff, wax, pressure wash, tire shine, remove seats and interior parts to clean, etc... ***Need somebody to assist painter - Sanding cars, taping, removing bumpers and other parts, removing tires to paint rims, etc... ***Need somebody to assist 2 mechanics - Lifting cars, doing oil changes and tire replacements, parking cars, pick up parts and/or customers, washing engines and underneath with pressure washer, etc... ***Need somebody to assist sales - Help deliver and p/up cars from auction and other vendors. Typical day may be: Come in at 8am, help service manager by pulling in a few cars and lifting them, removing wheels for inspection and diagnosis. Assist with a couple oil changes. Spend a few hours with detailer helping clean cars. Go to lunch. After lunch, remove a front bumper and sand it down. Go to auction and drop off 2 cars for sale. Stop by parts store and pick up parts for service manager. Leave at 4-6pm. TYPICAL WORK WEEK IS 45-50 HOURS, OVERTIME FOR OVER 40HRS, PAY STARTS AT $12 PER HOUR FOR 90 DAYS OF TRAINING/LEARNING/PROBATION. $1 HOUR RAISE AFTER 30-90 DAYS IF ADVANCING. PAID HOLIDAYS AFTER 90 DAYS. THIS POSITION PAYS $14-16 AFTER 1 YEAR. WE ARE A 14 YEAR COMPANY IN THE SAME LOCATION. THIS POSITION PAYS OVER $40K. This position requires a person who hustles, and can change gears quickly. You may be waxing a car, then get pulled off that to go to the Dealer and pick up parts, then come back and help mount and balance 4 tires, then go back to waxing the car. This is a fast paced, busy operation and we need someone who wants to stay busy, learn many areas of automobile reconditioning and be in the car business. Must be able to learn quickly and be able to move from task to task quickly. Ideal candidate MUST be clean and organized. You will be required to clean and organize various areas of the shops. Sloppy, dirty, unorganized people need not apply. Will be required to help keep shop cleaned, and organize and receive parts. THIS IS A FAST PACED JOB. Must have valid Florida driver license. Must be able to understand, speak and write English VERY fluently. Must be clean cut, polite and presentable to work around customers.
