Unique Caregiver Opportunity - Companion/ Caretaker / Roommate Compensation: To Be Discussed Employment type: Partial Time We are looking for a mature female, who is looking for a place to live and has experience in being a caregiver to a very functional and vibrant elderly individual. The place of residence: A fairly new and spacious apartment, with a private bedroom and bathroom. The “Roommate”: A retired nurse, who is looking for a companion, someone to converse with, play cards with, go on sightseeing drives, shopping and other outings. There are nearly no physical healthcare needs, however, the perfect candidate will need to have patience and understanding of the aging process. The Caregiver: Preferred CNA or Experienced Caregiver, who is experienced with working with the elderly and/or with those that may be experiencing early signs of dementia. You would be helping the client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, driving to various places, and overall companionship. We are also looking for an individual that listens to and provides emotional support and encouragement; engaging the person in social and therapeutic activities and making a real difference in her life! The ideal candidate needs to be a reliable, positive and compassionate person and caregiver, with a healthy sense of humor.
