Description

I can provide free tutoring or study help for anyone (via phone) on almost any area of math and science. I can not promise better test scores like paid tutors but I can provide some homework help, act as a study peer for test preparation, or help you learn from math or science books. Usually in-person tutoring would be available at a library or the student's home, but I advise tutoring via phone because of the coronavirus. I'm best at helping students already in school. But if you aren't in school, then I have a few old college textbooks that we can review. I specialized in mathematics in Brooklyn Tech and CUNY City College. I can't help with literature or history, but I can help anyone read or improve their English via my own selections of text. Here are some books that I'm familiar with: The Holy Bible (King James Version) A Friendly Introduction to Number Theory (4th Edition) by Joseph H. Silverman Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease (9th Edition) by Kumar, Abbas, and Aster Elementary Analysis: The Theory of Calculus by Kenneth A. Ross Calculus by James Stewart Heath Earth Science by Spaulding and Namowitz A First Course in Probability (9th Edition) by Sheldon Ross Elementary Linear Algebra (10th Edition) by Howard Anton Numerical Analysis (9th Edition) by Richard and Douglas Basic College Mathematics (2nd Edition) by John and Jeffrey Inquiry into Life (9th Edition) by Sylvia S. Mader Mathematical Proofs: A Transition to Advanced Mathematics (3rd Edition) by Gary, Albert, and Ping Basic Mathematics Skills by Loreto Porte Biology (4th Edition) by Neil A. Campbell Tree Finder: A Manual for the Identification of Trees by Their Leaves by May Theilgaard Watts New York City Trees: A Field Guide for the Metropolitan Area by Edward Sibley Barnard Biology: Concepts and Connections (4th Edition) by Campbell, Reece, Mitchell, and Taylor Physics for Scientists and Engineers (8th Edition) by Serway and Jewett Also if you have any science book that you aren't using, I might be interested in providing free safekeeping services, paying to read it at any location, renting it, or buying it. I have an interest in zoology, nature, biology, microbiology, pathology, and chemistry books. This free service may be posted in the "Services" category, next week. It will still be free.
